ANIMAL LIFE MATTERS

Since 2009, Friends of Noah has taken a full-circle approach to animal rescue. As a volunteer-based organization, we are committed to providing new opportunities to stray and abandoned animals, educating the public, and offering assistance to pet owners struggling to provide for their pets.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

In the last year, Friends of Noah has:

helped over 80 cats and dogs find fur-ever homes,
helped feed approximately 2700 animals through local food banks,
distributed over 20,000 pounds of food through local food banks,
paid over $20,000 in veterinary expenses for families who couldn’t otherwise afford care, and
educated children on animal safety.

This year has been particularly challenging, as we have taken in many rescues with unknown health issues. We have spent over $31,000 on veterinary care this year, to make sure every adoptable is healthy, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. As you can imagine, adoption fees don’t cover all the costs.
