Adoption fees help cover the costs associated with spaying/neutering, all vaccinations, veterinary checks, and other care as needed. Adoption fees also include any applicable state/county taxes. Out-of-state adoptions incur an additional $50 for the CVI (Certificate of Veterinary Inspection) as required by the State of Wisconsin. Our adoption fees alone do not cover the basic veterinary costs incurred.
