AUGUST 2020

IN MEMORIAM

Tim Banwell, long time Friends of Noah Board Member, passed away on August 12, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tim was instrumental in getting the Rabies Clinic started and running smoothly. Tim will be remembered as a  kind, humble, thoughtful person who cared very much about animals. Our organization is better because of him. He will be missed.

HAPPY TAILS

BEHIND THE SCENES…

Friends of Noah has been very active behind the scenes rescuing, fostering, and adopting. We’ve also been busy providing food to pets in need through the CAFE program and providing veterinary care through Noah’s Animal Fund.

Under normal circumstances, we’d be gearing up for a busy fundraising season. However, with the health and safety of our volunteers a top priority, the COVID-19 pandemic has us looking into new ways to raise funds.

This is where YOU come in! We could use your help in ‘thinking outside the box’! Do you have an idea that could help raise funds for the animals in our community? If so, please email your ideas to Dawn Espinosa.

COMMITTEES

C.A.F.E. (Companion Animal Food Effort)

CAFE continues to make a big impact in the community. The food pantries we support are very grateful for its continued existence - especially in light of the ongoing pandemic. Want to help? Mounds, Petco, and Janesville Veterinary Clinics are all drop off points in Janesville.

S.A.F.E. (Saving Animals through Focused Education)

No report.

Noah’s Animal Fund

Already this month, Noah’s Animal Fund has helped fund the veterinary care of 3 animals at a cost of over $4000. Desi was just one of the animals we’ve helped.
