JULY 2020
ANIMAL UPDATE
As of 7/9, Hannah and Graycee have gone to purr-ever homes!
Welcome to Liam, Lea, and Buddy.
UPCOMING ‘EVENTS’
We’ll be at Mounds Pet Food Warehouse on Saturday, July 25th from 11-1!
2020 Rabies Clinic: It is with sadness that the Board has decided to cancel the 2020 Rabies Clinic. Our partners, the Rock County Public Health Department, have had to allocate all resources to their work with Covid-19 and would not be able to provide their support to the extent they normally do. We thank them for all the support they gave us in previous years and know our volunteers understand and support them. We are scheduled for September 2021.
FOSTER HERO
While Buddy was waiting to come to our Adoption Center, he was hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis as well as road rash. While he heals, he will be in a small crate to limit his movement. As he heals, he is being treated with wet cat food (as the meds he is on for pain can cause constipation) and is getting treats and love!
We are grateful to our Foster Hero who is tending to Buddy during this time. It is possible he will suffer from arthritis due to his injuries as he ages. One Buddy has healed, he will be fully vaccinated and neutered and be available for adoption!
HAPPY TAILS
IN OTHER NEWS….
To say that 2020 has been challenging is a bit of an understatement. We hope that everyone is healthy and has stayed safe during this times. We are so grateful to our volunteers who been working behind the scenes to continue helping animals in the community.
This week, Friends of Noah is ‘re-opening’ in the Adoption Center at Mounds - Janesville! Due to inadequate space for social distancing, the Cat Room will not be open to the public at this time. We are still looking for back-up volunteers. If you can help, please message Lori Rockwell!
